About the Founder

Founder & Executive Director, Ohana Foundation International
A veteran, humanitarian, and community builder whose life's work is rooted in one simple truth: when families are strong, communities thrive.
J. Taylor
Founder & Executive Director
J. Taylor founded Ohana Foundation International out of a deep conviction that lasting change begins at the grassroots level — in neighborhoods, schools, and families. Drawing on years of service and field experience across multiple sectors, Taylor built Ohana as the community resilience directorate of the broader PICRGITFON network.
With a background spanning military service, humanitarian operations, and nonprofit leadership, Taylor has dedicated their career to bridging the gap between institutional response and the lived realities of vulnerable communities. Ohana Foundation International is the direct expression of that mission.
Taylor's approach is rooted in the Hawaiian concept of ohana — the understanding that family extends beyond blood, encompassing community, neighbors, and all those we choose to care for. This philosophy shapes every program Ohana delivers, from youth empowerment and neighborhood preparedness to charitable relief and public education.

The Ohana Philosophy
"Ohana means family — and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."
Every program we build, every unit we deploy, every community we serve is guided by this principle. We don't parachute in and leave. We build relationships, develop local leaders, and create systems of resilience that outlast any single intervention.
Part of a Larger Mission
Ohana Foundation International operates as the Community Empowerment Directorate within the Pacific International Crisis Response & Global Intervention Task Force Operations Network Foundation (PICRGITFON) — a unified global crisis response architecture spanning security, humanitarian operations, scientific research, and grassroots resilience.
